FAMILY RELIEF SUPPORT
Aloha,
Galatians 6:2 tells us to “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Holy scripture reminds us in time of trouble, the bonds of community and compassion are more important than ever. And now we, the Maui Catholic Community stand in solidarity with everyone impacted by the devastating Maui wildfires on August 8.
Ten Maui Catholic churches are offering assistance through our own Maui Disaster Relief Fund to families in need of food, water, housing support, monetary assistance, and spiritual health and wellness.
We invite you to submit this application for Maui Disaster Relief, knowing you are not alone in your recovery. Our goal is to ensure that every family member in need receives the help they require. We see our community’s urgent needs and we are here to help.
Please note that only 1 application is required per family, and 1 application covers all 10 Churches. Submit to your Church and we will be sure to respond within 10 days, unless you require support sooner.
Together, as a community, we will heal and rebuild.
Blessings and Peace from God our Father be with you all!
Rev. Msgr. Terrence Watanabe,
Vicar Forane, Maui/Lanai Vicariate
Due to an abundance of applications received, we are no longer accepting new applicants.
