MS. ROSE JOHNSON

Rose Johnson is the Music Director of St. Anthony Church where she has been an active parishioner for most of her life. She graduated from St. Anthony School in 1971 and received her Bachelor of Music degree from Immaculate Heart College in California.

When Rose returned to Maui, she taught music at the Yamaha Music School, St. Anthony Grade School, and Wailuku Elementary School. She also taught and still teaches private lessons in piano and music at the Rose Johnson Piano Studio. Rose has also been active with community music groups: the Baldwin  Theater Guild, the Maui Arts and Performing Academy (formerly the Maui Youth Theater) and Maui Onstage (formerly the Maui Community Theater).

Rose strives to keep learning and growing in her professional, personal, and spiritual life. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and traveling.
